  • I've been excited for it for a while as well. Tried out the alpha and it was overall pretty good but since the kernel was a bit older I couldn't run it with my hardware. Also gaming didn't work very well but I see it might have been fixed for the up coming beta.

Can't wait to switch to it again. Loved the built in customization and layout.

  • That's unfortunate but at the same time the app store is quite lacking. I want to say its still in test phase but its missing so many basic things to make it functional. No app screenshots that, no app descriptions, not much information at all outside of an install button. Then there is the fact that there isn't many apps in there to begin with.

The benefit of this store was to allow both proprietary and open source apps but without any basic descriptions I find it useless. Its more similar to obtainium but without the flexibility.

  • I owe a Boox Note Air. Had it for a while now. Overall very good tablet but it is expensive. Runs a custom Android skin which is fine since I run it offline most of the time. Perfect for reading and writing.

  • From my understanding on the signal protocol, the only thing they can check is your last log in. So not really who you messaged.

The downside of signal is that it is centralized.

  • Firefox, since its an overall good browser. Added a custom user-script to it.

Vivaldi, for anything Google specific since its chromium base. Also in case something breaks in Firefox.

Like to keep my activities seperate. This is only for desktop.

  • Calisthenics.

If you have a little money to spare, get some good exercise bands.

  • Are you saying that the chef knives they have are too straight for your liking? As you want more rocking motion. Probably best bet is a custom knife.

  • This should be noted that the knife part is only for western style knives. Same with the cutting technique. That's only for a curved type blade.

  • It is for both I think, as I do not get read receipts from some people with iOS and some I do.

  • I record events of the day, daily. Going on a year now. Just a quick jot of the most eventful thing of the day. Nice to look back and remember things that happened through out the year.

Use an app called "Daily You" in F-droid to help me organize it all, if anyone is interested.

  • Since you can't really taste or smell, your best bet will be to follow recipes and hope for the best. Approach cooking like a science. Measure at all points during the process. Measure out all the ingredients and prepare then ahead of cooking them. When cooking meats, use a thermometer to measure the temperature of the meat to make sure they are cooked.

Its always better to undersalt things than over salt. You can always add more salt but can't remove it. You can pre salt things and hour before and this will help even out the saltiness of most things.

  • Raccoon for Lemmy on Android also has the ability to search within communities. Can't recall if Eternity does also.

  • It may be more Nvidia related since the game runs fine with my set up, but I am on AMD hardware. So not too sure how to advise.

I was using Proton hotfix for a while and that got the game to run. I know a more recently version of proton has fixes for MH Wild. Hopefully this new update fixed your issues.

  • Have to keep things offline and outdated nowadays 🫤 to prevent things like this happening.

  • Depends on local laws. Most of the time there is a license. Waiting period on when you get it, can vary. Background checks, also vary.

As most cases, guns laws vary a lot state by state. A lot of gun owner support checks but the loud ones (people) usually have a different opinions.

  • This is unfortunate, but at the rate we are currently going this might come into fruition. 😢

  • Probably depends on the person who drew it.

  • They have their own thing I believe. Have to use Putty for SSH.
