Holy false equivalency Batman. There is a vast difference between hunting and torturing animals. It is a case where intent and what that one approaches the task has a substantial bearing on the individual's likelihood of anti-social personality disorder. An ethical hunter shows respect to the animal that they kill by doing their best to minimize suffering (this includes things like choice of weapon as well as ensuring that any game that they shoot it's tracked down so that they didn't suffer needlessly).

I say this as someone who does not hunt but previously worked on a small poultry farm where I had to slaughter as well as euthanize animals. I've seen what good and bad quality of life does to animals. Ignoring the plight of factory farmed animals does not make you a better person.

Have never been a fan of tubeless - dealing with flats is way less of a field-servicable thing. Sure, if one has a flat on a big ADV bike, dealing with a flat is going to suck either way, but, tube-type tires give a chance of restoring nearly full functionality with minimal and/or improvised tools. Something like a 250cc or smaller bike generally won't be a problem.

From personal experience, frivolous denials are way up. Having to appeal regular covered care at a significantly higher rate than last year, during which I had a single appeal necessary. If the treatments were covered then the patient should continue to get care despite a denied claim and should appeal the denied claim, and in the case of delayed care they should sue the insurer.

In the real world, people who are undergoing chemo or other treatments for diseases that are fatal without treatment generally do not have the capacity to get a lawyer or file a lawsuit, between bouts of vomiting and unconsciousness. Even if the denial is overturned, delay in necessary treatment caused by the denial can, and does, result in the disease progressing to a point where mortality is guaranteed.

There is a significant difference between healthcare and insurance. Private insurance, like UHC, makes money by not paying out claims so that they can pocket the money that people pay in premiums. Healthcare is actually treating people's conditions.
For people with severe illness, this in many cases resulted in their unnecessary deaths. These were not cases of triage to ensure that resources were available to those more likely to survive, it was purely to increase profits. These deaths were the direct result of his pre-meditated actions.

Ethically, it absolutely does. The relationship between people in the US and health insurance is an overtly coercive one. People generally do not have any choice in health insurance but that which their current or former employer provides. Engineering a system to provide significant roadblocks and delays results in severely ill people being forced to deal with a situation that they are physically incapable of (from your expressed view, this is the sick people's own fault?).
And the fraudulent denial of claims and pre-approvals leads to specialists refusing to schedule life-saving treatment at least as often as the patients themselves.
