  • Honestly, one doesn't really have to have low standards when taking that approach. Just go to bars that fit one's vibe and talk to people, and don't be judgemental on superficial things. Either it'll click with someone or not.

To be fair, it does help if one finds the majority of people of their preferred gender(s) to have something beautiful about them.

And being a bit of a slut. I can state from personal experience that that helps. Embrace your inner slut (ethically).

  • I recently started the anime. Yeah. Pretty accurate. Luffy (main character) wants to become king of the pirates but has an ethical code similar to a knight-errant. His crew is very much the same. In one arc, they all risk their lives (including one of them who was still recovering from near-fatal wounds), initially because one of the crew was enslaved as a child by pirates that murdered their mother.

    So, yeah. Pretty accurate.

  • Here's a cross-over mineral and biology:

Teeth are not bone. They are made of a variety of the mineral apatite called hydroxyapatite (fluoride treatment converts some of it into fluorapatite, which has stronger chemical bonds).

Further, apatite is a homophone for appetite but they come from completely different root words.

  • How will this impact the people in the Epstein Files?

  • I thought that name sounded familiar. I keep seeing people float the idea of her relative as a presidential candidate as if we need another fucking ultra-wealthy dickhead in a high position of governmental power.

  • Would have been nice if automobile companies hadn't sabotage public transport infrastructure to make a demand for their product and then barely received a slap on the wrist for it.

  • Honestly, I didn't expect great reading comprehension or other skills necessary for clerical work from people who knowingly choose to be neo-nazis.

  • Easy to find them with a Geiger counter.

  • Fortunately, it looks like that was done already with Swanstation, which also has many more contributors.

  • Yes. The license doesn't technically appear to forbid forking, just sharing the fork.

  • I have some issues with flatpak, myself, but that mainly stems from having trouble finding documentation to clear up how to properly use extensions and non-standard dependencies that are easy to do with OCI images.

Ex. I had a really hard time trying to get Vega Strike built as a flatpak.

  • Yeah... That's pretty terrible. I was meaning packaging patchsets for other distros. Hopefully the GPL-preserving fork is better.

  • Hopefully, in a less destructive and more symbiotic manner. As much as I have a grudge against odorous house ants, I wouldn't wish cordyceps on them, much less our future crab descendents.

  • Yeah. It was admittedly a bit heartbreaking to discover that it appears that there are no extant descendents of any sauropod or ornithischia species. :(

  • Ah good point. I'm more used to people doing it unintentionally.

  • These are actually questions that I've asked and done digging about in info sources on. I'm sad to report that it does appear that only descendents of theropod species appear to have survived. :(

  • Or palms.

  • Crustaceans: Crab

    Mammals: Weasel Crab

    Plants: Tree Grass. Everything grass.

Amphibians & Reptiles: Unchanged because they are perfect Crab

Birds: 360° around back to dinosaurs First of all, avian dinosaurs are dinosaurs. Secondly, 360° doesn't really make sense, probably they meant 180°. Finally, crab.

Fungi: I shan't speculate on the affairs of gods.

Moral of the story: You might not like it but decapods are peak animal evolution. All roads lead to crab.

  • Eh. It's a fine distro (I use it as one of my boots) but I really would steer new folks away from Arch as a first distro. The wiki is phenomenal but it's not very ergonomic for people who don't live in the terminal (like me), even with Discover.
