I love programming. i love homestuck. old account on nebula42@lemmy.ml. upon learning about lemmy.world's policy about needing to be over 18, I moved over to nebula42@lemmy.today. To mods, please don't delete this account. Lock it or something, I don't want everything here to vanish.

  • You don't need a VPN when you use tor. In fact, it's probably less secure since it's going through a private server that might have a government black box hooked up. Also, no FBI or CIA agent is ever gonna tell you to use tor???

  • HUGE SPOILER:

    Start by getting rid of the enemies in the first room. If there are no doors, start searching the walls, you can repeatedly search the walls by typing out 20s. most corpses are safe to eat within 15 turns or so, afterwards they'll give you food poisoning. A good rule of thumb is whatever your pet eats is safe to eat, but never eat kobold corpses, they give you food poisoning. Let your pet walk over armor to determine whether or not it's cursed, if it says your pet reluctantly steps over a piece of armor or a weapon, then it's cursed, use #call to mark it as such if desired. This should get you past at least the first floor of the dungeon. Good luck!

  • The worst mistake you made in this argument was choosing to argue in the first place. It doesn't matter if you're right, someone like this probably isn't going to change their mind and, more than likely, they're just trying to pull your leg. Believe, I've tried to argue with a ton of bigots in my past, works just as well as a gazelle in a lions den.
