I know, and I also said I would add that source to my downloaded image.

But if and when people share plots like this, they seize to hold any real value if you can’t trace the data and check it’s veracity from the image itself

It’s a small addition to the plotting code that makes all the difference in not having the plot become an orphan.

Love the chart overall, one nitpick I have though: Please consider putting a source (hyperlink ideally, otherwise citation-style info) at the bottom of the plot.

If people love your viz and download or share it, it becomes nigh-meaningless if the underlying data is not mentioned.

For me it was the same back some years ago - paint.net was the software I probably missed the most. Between Pinta and Krita, I tend to find everything I need. Pinta is most similar to paint.net imo, quite a bit more basic, but the same toolkit and design philosophy I’d say.
