I use arch btw

Credibly accused of being a fascist, turbolib, commie, anarchist, child, boomer, pointlessly pedantic, imperialist to my very core, zionist, a Russian psychological warfare operative, and db0's sockpuppet.

Pronouns are she/her.

Vegan for the iron deficiency.

  • Humans are not generally capable of such separation. If you do want to do this sort of thing then you should probably use a tool. Of course your tool will likely mark you, but at least it wont lead back to you without the tool. Like the equivalent of blowing out security cameras with a bright LED.

For instance you could use a script that identified all words with synonyms that are used less frequently and replace them with the most common, that removes all spelling errors, that corrects grammatical error, and highlights sentences that run on for editing.

Generally if you want to avoid ID invent a fake person and being that person is easier. Also like, don't share things, don't comment, and ablate all character from your writing (amusingly slop bots are fantastic for removing all humanity from your writing, but general tone analysis tools can suffice).

  • With a basic knowledge of statistics, some time, and caffeine, all things are possible.

If you mean script kiddie it I fucking hope nobody has shipped that lol

  • attacks like this are just correlation/looking for distinct high info signals. Lemmy is if anything even more vulnerable via federation. But you knew that, because you read the article and didn't just reply like a 5 year old struggling against the irresistible call of a marshmellow.

  • It's mentioned in the article but we live in an age of anti intellectualism and apparently nobody reads. People have been able to do this with high accuracy for a long time, like at least 10 years.

    This just requires less expertise.

  • You'd prefer to be ruled by a subset of them?

  • Romans tried that, sucked for them. Learn from history, don't as Marx said repeat it as farce

  • I think your brain is maybe a little broken by the propaganda here. Democracy != westminster shite or tyranny of the majority. It's just broadly rule by the people. Proper democracy works via consensus with protections for marginalised voices, and can grant people revocable authority when fast decisions are needed. Like you can democratically decide to listen to a firey when your house is on fire without giving that person dictatorial powers.

  • I think if you really experienced democracy you would believe that. Like when would democracy not be preferable?

  • Unsurprising when our government claims to be a democracy but isn't really. Like obviously people would lose faith in democracy if you think that it's voting for liblab despite wanting someone else, watching them be unaccountable, watching them ignore popular reforms, going to work under a dictatorship, experiencing oligarchy whenever you procure the means of subsistence etc.

Australia is not a democracy in any meaningful sense. I mean ffs you can't even fire your member if they just lie lol.

  • I hate chatbots because they are an affront to personhood, language, and the very concept of meaning. You hate chatbots because some of the manufacturers donate to a political party in a failing empire.

  • I mean, you don't become a head of state without a certain degree of approval. Seems a bit oppressive to try prevent people, especially since it's probably combined with mourning the destruction of a country in an illegal war.

  • reddit and its consequences has been a diaster for the minds of young men.

  • You think fundies are gonna read that and get something out of it?

  • I better set this up this arvo. Myrient archives so many old games that you literally cannot obtain all in an accessible way.

Losing the files would be a digital book burning.

  • What is the point of this remark? It seems overly literal. The post isn't saying that some point is carved into the stuff of the universe, nobody thinks if you get a powerful enough microscope you'll see "make art and fornicate" written in little wiggling molecular strands. We're all raised in the same postmodern world lol.

There is subtext to all human communication, in this case the subtext is "Inasmuch as humans find reasons for existing beyond simply a biological aversion to suicide the outlined reasons are not satisfactory. Nonetheless society is hostile to acting out other goals, this is a problem."

So why make the remark? Do you think people don't know that there is no cosmic purpose? Do you want to stand out as having been exposed to ideas from nihilism and absurdism? What do you add?

  • It's a shame you feel that polluting our cultural heritage with bullshit, and damaging people's brains, is worth being able to sit on your arse.

  • Using chatgpt carries its own death sentence

  • That list is divided into "extract rents" and "work a job" It seems kinda weird to call a job passive income just because you're not paid a wage. But no I don't mean people buying a book you wrote.

  • Where does the money come from lol? It doesn't grow on trees. Stocks are labour appropriation, rent is labour appropriation, interest on investments? Who's paying lol, the bank? No, people in the bank's debt that they credited with your money.

  • Passive income is just labour appropriation and deserves the death sentence.

  • Fuck AI @lemmy.world
