A little tip for when you try out different methods: Check the weight of the silica gel, to check your progress.

For example: Take a container from the AMS, weigh it. Give it an hour in a food dehydrator. Weigh it. Repeat until weight no longer drops. Give it a couple hours or more in an oven that’s at least 100 °C. Then weight it again.

Now you know how long it takes in the dehydrator, and how well it works.

Later you can weigh it again, and compare to the weight out of the oven. Now you know how much water is in there.

Hvis jeg ikke allerede er vant til at bruge offentlig transport, så er en tur på sygehuset absolut ikke tiden til at finde ud af hvilken kombination af 2-4 busser der får mig til hospitalet og tilbage igen med minimum bekostning af arbejdsdage.

Hvis jeg har en hylende unge der skal på skadestuen, så er det et vildt irriterende tidspunkt at “slås” med en p-billet automat*, men det er nu stadig langt bedre end busser.

*) Hvorfor pokker skal hospitalet af alle steder have så træls et P-billet system…

Yep, all my smart thermostats are zugbee. No phoning home by design, so I don’t have to worry about missing functionality by not giving them internet connection.

And that goes for almost all my smart home. I only have wifi things when I couldn’t find a realistic zigbee option.

I do NOT want my thermostats to phone home. I don’t see any value of that.

But they are connected to MY smart home system (Hone Assistant), and THAT is accessible from the internet.

I get the remote monitoring and control that I want, and they don’t get any of my data. Perfect!

Or just “1.5 months”.

If it was 46 days, there will (arguably) be times where it’s less than 1.5 months.

I guess the intention is automation that updates every month, leaving you with half a month to fix issues.

Problemerne var der også da jeg fik mit kørekort i sin tid, men det er da MEGET værre nu. Sammenfletning har altid være akavet i Danmark, men nu kan det være en kamp at få lov til at flette ind, især hvis jeg vil holde min plads.

B: I don’t know how it works in US, but in my country a McDonald’s account is a fair deal to me. They pay me a fair price for some personal info. And if I go to McDonald’s and I for any reason feel like they shouldn’t register that particular visit, I just don’t use my account.

C: I want to use Windows, but logging into a Microsoft account does not give me any benefits worth the cons. So I use Windows without a Microsoft account. And it will be annoying to keep track of a “fake” account just for that.

Jeg tror der menes de butikker der ikke tager imod Dankort.

Jeg har et kombineret Mastercard og Dankort, og bemærker normalt ikke hvilken del der bruges. Men når jeg betaler med MobilePay, så skal jeg vælge, og ofte er det kun den ene eller anden der er kan bruges.

True. For several reasons.

First of all it was Trump who wanted and came up with the deal, why would it be “a setup and they never planned for the deal to go through”?

That is a VERY common political method. “Stupid” suggestions that will never get accepted comes up every day for various reasons.

1). Trump said USA gave most money to Ukraine, Z said no they didn’t, EU gave more, Trump said no we did, Z started arguing, Trump smiled, said well discuss it later, patted Z on the back.

What was he supposed to do? Just accept it? If he does fight the lies, more people will think that Trump is right.

Now people saw that Trump had nothing to back up his claim.

2). Zelensky said the war was between Ukraine and Russia, and that USA could be allowed in negotiation after peace as a partner… And I think this really pissed off Vance and Trump.

And how is that a mistake?

3). Zelensky said that “maybe if you believe the Russian lies,” in response to one of Trump’s statements, as if he was on r/politics.

Sounds interesting, I’d like to see that part. Can you provide a link with a timestamp? I tried finding it myself but found nothing.

4). he trotted out those pictures, with that condescending tone, acting like Trump is just a big orange dummy that needs his kindergarten lesson in war. He literally talks to Trump like he is a child while handing him the pictures.

It is very common to re-enact when the cameras are on. This was Trumps chance to show compassion.

I just rewatched that bit trying to see it from your angle, and I don’t see it at. He spelled out some stuff that any world leader shouldn’t need to be told, I assume that was for the cameras.

Although you could be right, that Zelensky is approaching Trumps childish language. But even if that is true, how is this something that would upset Trump? Most people appreciate when you use their own way of communication, except when their way is some variation of bullying.

If I can’t use it one-handed (using ALL physical buttons and ALL parts of the screen), then it’s not a phone.

Seriously, this is how we used to define the difference between phones and tables - one-hand or two-hand use.
