  • Dang, you are so correct.

I forgot that unlike most package managers, Portage doesn't use its name for the command.

But then again people never say 'I use Aptitude', just apt.

  • Thank you.

    Is it worth watching?

  • I'll visit again tomorrow.

    But nice reference.

  • I threw that mail out just now, nothing to worry about.

  • The real OG is emerge.

    The best software manager ever.

  • Try me, it will be a boxing day

  • But I mean, congestion usually has a place where it begins, adding more lanes behind it makes 0 sense. Or perhaps removing lanes would make more sense, as then cars wouldn't have to merge in such big numbers.

In reality, the answer is trains. Tracks everywhere, and very frequent runs.

  • Vim is amazing, and you can put language servers into neovim. Works like a charm.

  • On lemmy there are multiple women-only communities that reach front page regularly.

If you pay close attention, they also post here.

I'm suprised how many (at least claim) to be women around here.

  • Fuck you, that's why.

Accusing workers from taking vacations is an absolute abominable bullshit only ghouls would ever spread.

So to get a real answer:

Fuck capital, it doesn't do shit. People improve technology, and they need resources for that. Simple as.

So EU should dedicate more resources to research and development of technology it can't survive without. Lessen the dependancy on China and US.

Specially open software, that investment will bring back tenfold more growth very quickly. Don't need many resources for that, just feed people.

I know less about hardware, but semiconductors are in everything, so we all need to stop producing products with them, as well as having more producers, so you can have ethical and ecological lifecycle.

Again: we don't need european Torment Nexus

  • Top right looks like a monogatari character.

So either a new one (haven't seen new series since like S4), or I'm mistaken.

  • I mean, I don't see the issue.

Producing such amounts of code with AI should be a easy as pie.

Obviously, through many outages and bugs present in the Windows and other Microsoft products, they could not give two shits about quality. And quantity is easily measured and also achieved with the Enormous Bullshit Spewer.

I always wished for Microsoft to die, and if this is the way, I will clap for their efforts.

  • What is?

  • Fucking yes.

Provide aid to those affected, open corridors so people can run away, but never start a full scale war.

Fuck everyone who has ever done that, way more than anyone else.

  • Any open war is an absolute worst thing any country can do.

And by opening a conflict, it makes the other side automatically looking better. Irregardless of any history or precedens.

Specially if it drags for years. Just go back and let it be.

  • Yeah, that's exactly what we need.

    LLM producing the code

    LLM approving the change

    LLM agent pushing to prod

Then wonder why the users are gone

  • I'm afraid that's going to be a long way off.

KVM can do it, but usually only to one kernel. Not sure if you can have multiple kernels handling one GPU.

  • Kinda still your point, but if you have one engineer producing 1M SLOC, how many do you have for code review?

I hate how everyone nowadays is acting like reviews are not important. Actual oversight over codebase is way less important than shipping random code. Which is insane.

  • I wish so much I could play it for the first time again.
