  • it means I am focusing my energy on things that are known to be worthwhile, or at least more likely to be

a >50% chance that the person in question is an asshole and undeserving of any sympathy means playing the odds

people get respect when they demonstrate they deserve it

  • Smells

    Jump
  • wood smells good tho

  • constantly reviewing low quality work. kill me now.

what godawful boring job that would be. I'd have absolutely no motivation to do it well

  • Guilty

  • save those McMaster-Carr baggies for snacks n such

  • yep

and video seems to show those drags continuing off the handle and onto the stone

  • I like the documentation in that article.

The photo they show of the holster makes it very clear that this is negligence, though. there's simply no question about that. as a gun owner you are expected to be smart enough to realize that your holster must not deform in this manner, especially with that model of gun

also, personal note: fuck that guy for wearing this into a cafe

  • yep

  • yep

  • I don't know. that's why I'm asking.

  • I refuse to even consider feeling bad for somebody if they voted for exactly what they got.

so if that information won't be provided, I will hold out judgement and ignore the article

  • Who did you vote for, Jeff?

WHO DID YOU VOTE FOR, JEFF‽

  • I'm surprised there were that many consequences. thanks for sharing

  • ah yes, headlines that outright contradict the article contents. love it.

  • that is so goddamn infuriating and unfair. I'm sorry you had to deal with this. it's a shame that the people involved just got away with it. life is unfair and it sucks.

so what I take away from this nowadays is that we goddamn well betterr make sure the assholes pay for it when we can actually make it happen

  • that's because he hauled it instead

  • the average American driver experiences a minor collision every 229,000 miles and a major collision every 699,000 miles.

those numbers are way lower (crash frequency) than I expected, tbh

it feels like the average in my circle in Ontario is like one minor crash every 200k km. obviously I've not actually tracked the miles of all my acquaintances, this is just going off memories of random discussions with people.

  • even single occupant?

  • easy fix. don't use the motor, just hook it up to some bicycles and reduction gears
