While it definitely looks promising to use hydrogen for the no-carbon benefits, you do still have to wonder about other environmental impacts. What's going to happen to when the hydrogen pockets empty? Land subsidence could potentially be a problem, so I think more research about possible side effects is absolutely necessary before any large scale extractions happen.
Critics highlight concerns about freedom of speech and the potential for companies to face restrictions in promoting or competing with their products, even more sustainable ones.
Want to compete with more sustainable companies? Become more sustainable yourself, simple as.
Interact with them in person. Men and women write a lot of polarising shit online, but once you go outside it's (usually) not that bad. Sure, there's always some asshats here and there, but I feel like there's also a lot more good people around than you realize.
I like the way Miyazaki handles it, makes me feel like I'm really exploring the world and uncovering its secrets. Nothing beats the feeling of making the connection between a random sword's description and some kind of important figure. And the things I miss, I can probably find in a lore video somewhere.
I don't know, seems like a thing that's hard to get right. A Marvel-quip like character would probably take me right out of the usually dark atmosphere of souls likes. Personally, I wouldn't like a permanent companion that I can't turn off. I think the Elden Ring system does it well, with optional summons (either spirit ashes, or the NPC summons for fights like Radahn).
So, just science being science then? Disagreements have always been a part of science, and always will be. The only important factor is how they are handled. Think a study is flawed? Repeat it, and change the flaws to see if the results differ significantly. But openly discrediting any evidence (for or against a case) without testing is as unscientific as it gets. I believe the person at the end also has a point: yeah, we don't know if microplastics are as bad as they say, but better safe than sorry.
To me, politics is like my dick: I don't whip it out in front of strangers.
