  • look at baldurs gate 3 there is blue check that game runs on SteamOS, afaik you dont have that check on windows big picture

  • One of reasons could be because manjaro is also porting their Zotac launcher, which is going to support GOG, Epic games and Steam out of the box rather than having just Steam and it's going to stand out from Steam Deck and other windows handhelds.

  • lego games and on sale?

  • Unfortunately, it's a game from EA, so don't get your hopes too high.

  • You are not counted as windows user if you are playing games with Proton as long you are using official Steam client for Linux, if you are using Steam for windows and running it with WINE then (i think) you are counted as windows user

  • probably just his editor put it for the video

  • that is not his list, just a random screenshot.

  • steam package from rpmfusion is not official

  • Like that, but default on Steam client and store game page.

  • And now Valve needs to figure out how to tell users which game works and which game doesn't work. Maybe some kind of badge for Proton?

  • Fizz was comparing SteamOS vs Windows market share, which SteamOS/Linux is just 2.69% compared to windows, now with new windows for handhelds there’s a risk that Microsoft could further solidify its monopoly in the PC ecosystem. This development could pose a significant challenge to Valve’s efforts to compete with SteamOS/Linux, potentially stifling its growth in the handheld gaming space.
