me - reading about how to prepare acorns for cooking
her - huh, ok *walks away *
I think it went something like : See tree > acorns! > can you eat acorns? > look up acorns > spend 30 minutes reading about preparing and cooking acorns > Forget original thing I was going to do

When I was in third grade I had an argument with my teacher who told me that insects were not animals. I was really into nature documentaries and books at the time and I knew that insects were in the animal kingdom.
I remember going home and being really mad about it. That really soured me on school for the rest of my life. I'm still bitter about it!
Thanks for the recc. I've used syncthing for syncing my phone with my PC and it works great. Though sync is not quite what I want since any file deletions on the PC get propagated to the folder on the server. Though maybe there is a way to change this behavior in syncthing?
Not really something I would listen to either, but they were intentionally cringey, unlike some other 90s music (e.g. Korn)
