  • TRUMP BIBLE, TRUMP BIBLE! GET YOUR TRUMP BIBLE. ORDER NOW AND WELL THROW IN A TRUMP 2028 HAT!

I wonder if he’s gonna update the included constitution in the bible with the newly redacted rights

  • Me: So why did you kill the elephant

    Edison: AC bad

  • Because 99% of Lemmy has already made up its mind. At least that my perception. Maybe I’m wrong

  • ✨EXACTLY✨

  • ….genius

  • If I did daily drive Linux I would probably use arch or Nixos so I could flex

  • This is the right answer

  • Kinesis Advantage 360 Pro. Pretty sure it was refurbished by Kinesis for a discount

  • But I also do spend 8 hours a work day coding in Vim not on Linux. Just to clarify, I’m also not using Windows (gross).

  • LOL me writing this, using neovim and a split keyboard to make me feel smart. There is definitly some truth to this. But I never look down upon people for not using the technology I choose. People on here can be really annoying. It’s like the virtue signaling Linux.

  • I just pushed 1.9.20 eveywhere. TestFlight lags a little behind (maybe a few hours) and App Store a little behind that (maybe a day or two). Android is much faster. F-Droid takes 3-6 days.

I’m hesistatnt to rush anything out the door that could break other things. Turning off features based on PieFed or Lemmy has to happen soon. Maybe in the next few weeks. For now, the name of the game is stability.

Software teams don’t really work without QA and a product manager. I’ve had to do everything myself for awhile, but your QA work recently has really freed me up to just write code. Give yourself more credit!

  • Vim is kinda like a game. Except instead of a, s, w, d its h, j, k, l

  • I think you are single handedly finding every PieFed bug. Good work!

Unfortunately this one liks like PieFed API. I don’t know if they support search scoped to a specific community. I don’t think they support comment search either.

I really need a way to turn off certain features in Blorp when PieFed doesn’t support them. For example, it looks like you can register for a PieFed account through Blorp, but it will fail every time as the API doesn’t support registrations.

I’m traveling a lot this month, but if you could do me a favor and keep a running list of all the PieFed bugs, maybe on GitHub? Include this in the list. I’ll get to it when I can. Right now I’m trying to get the app as stable as possible while I’m still near a computer.

  • Which is a Windows Notepad clone

    • macOS on my work laptop. As an app developer this is my only option
    • macOS on my personal laptop. As an app developer this is my only option
    • raspbian on my home server
    • daily drive iOS
    • I dabble in Android on the side, but mostly just to test my apps

But I pretty much just need Tmux, Neovim, and a browser for 80% of my work and I’m happy. 10% of that is running an XCode build and the other 10% is macOS and iOS working really nicely together.

  • 7, but most of that is just approaching people. After we start talking maybe 3

  • Me listening to Kim Petras while working

  • Me: I know I shouldn’t rewrite this code

    Me: rewrites the code

    Me: we don’t need tests

Future me: god fucking damnit who broke this code that was working

  • Shhhhh we don’t talk about that part of the bible
