  • Linux mint is the loveliest distro. Apart from desktop shock you will get in Ubuntu coming from windows, it also has some controversial decisions. If you use Debian version of mint (LMDE), it is more stable than Ubuntu, which is already rock solid like pyramid of Giza (cf windows).

  • I think nobody here uses RCS. SMS is also old fashioned. I rarely text others to be honest. I ask others to come to signal but people are intoxicated with meta family. And Viber. I think Viber has e2ee enabled by default. Not sure for same if they upload the chat to g drive...

  • Did not even know what RCS is. I would bother the least with this "service".

    And I am aware of the banking apps, this is one reason why I don't use their "apps". Internet banking in web browser is the way.

    And my country is so aloof from the civilisation that wallet/tap whatever are not even allowed. Blissfully ignorant.
