It has already happen. Look what happen in 08. The banks did the foreclosures and then just sat on the properties or sold them in mass to someone else. There wasn't any auctions on the courthouse steps for the local populace to bid only a dollar.
I think you got that backwards. My theory which I have no stats for is that young drivers are more likely to kill themselves and older drivers are more likely to kill pedestrians and crash into buildings.
From your link "Except for drivers 80 years and older, per mile driven, young drivers are more involved in fatal crashes than older drivers." and the stat "5.4 for drivers 80+".
Those stats also was about drivers involved in a fatal crash. It doesn't mention if the driver killed themselves or a pedestrian.
Stocks on the Nasdaq and the rest of the USA exchanges are at T+1, transaction date plus one day. So they settle the next business day not in 2 to 3 days like you mentioned.

I think the aliens will either be for war or peace. The aliens that are in the middle will avoid contact with other worlds. The ones that are for war might try and seem like they are for peace but communication won't really matter. The ones that are for peace will be experienced some at least and give us a wide birth.
I guess if we are the aliens first first contact then we would be on equal footing.
Downvoted. I put these stats under true but pretty useless. As they are per residents, vacation and driven through places would be higher than boring and isolated cities.
