Not familiar enough with the differences. Plus I'll learn it better if I have to figure out all the ways to do a task instead of just one. Nano or Emacs or Vim? KDE or Gnome? Too much to choose from! :)

I don't think that's possible. So much is being spent on AI, that the amount of revenue it needs to generate is unreachable. Either lots of money starts coming in soon, or the ability to spend $100s of billions more evaporates. If the bubble were to continue for 10 years, it would have to have generated enough revenue to survive, while continuing to spend more than it could ever make.
If you haven't seen it, go watch Continuum. Great show where they predict a very similar "Corporate Congress" that rules the world. Different type of dystopian hell.
But why agree to still broadcast it? Doesn't sound like a very well thought out boycott. Instead, they should host their own Eurovision. With blackjack and hookers :)
