    Other people can argue about morality but I am obsessed with how things actually function. I'm obsessed with the "exploits" we allow.

    ie murder is illegal. Telling others to commit murder is illegal. But it's legal to use words and ideas to rig a Plinko game so that if someone was crazy enough to play, they'd drop their chip exactly where you wanted.

    These deaths happened awhile ago, when people started upping the ante. Just takes awhile for the crop to grow.

    Who knew "Vote for the lesser evil." was a synonym for "Vote Gavin Newsom." If I make a moral judgement and choose a lesser evil like accelerationism or nonviable third parties, suddenly "choosing a lesser evil" is wrong. People want to dish out top-shelf rhetoric with the force of a cannon but get mad when you take it seriously.

    I think they're "partying" because Israel has machine gunned civilians in boats carrying aid. Israel considers it "self defense" to kill these people. They shot up a boat and killed 10 innocents and when the world got mad... they sent Turkey $20 million to fuck off.

    It's an efficiency equation for Israel. The tiniest thing can tip the scales and then you're dead because it was a better play for Israel compared to letting these Freedom Flotillas intrude on their plans. They are probably referring to how in the 1910s USA was stumbling through an incursion into Mexico to fight rebels / raiders. As we joined WW1, some saw us as a rowdy militia, like cowboys. We had to borrow materiel because we weren't yet a proper war-machine like European countries were. Exactly 100 years ago that wasn't the case though. Yet there would still be quite a ways to go until the era of "top 3 air forces" and super carriers patrolling the globe while drones blow 'terrorists' to smithereens.
