On playstation there’s several games that were just released by the same scammer. One game, Gun shop simulator, looks to have ai generated textures, page description, and even the screenshots of gameplay. The main logo of the shop changes in every screenshot.

People wrote down Trump abusing tariffs in 2016 and there are analyses about how they damaged the economy. But nobody on lemmy knows about it. People will point out economic theory for why tariffs are bad because they seemingly don’t remember the tariffs failing in the real world. Memes forgot 2016. There’s even articles about politicians/billionaires selling stock using insider knowledge because “how else would they know about the tariffs?”

It’s not like I read the entire fediverse but whenever tariffs are brought up I’m confused why people ignore 2016. It’s not trivia, it’s extremely relevant to what people are discussing.

The website seems to just link to the budget bill. If this were devs discussing a change to a repo, you’d have links to discussions, the code in question, related technical specifications… not just a link to what a dev said on Twitter and a link to the repo.

I don’t know enough to parse the bills / their process, but I know enough to not care about what they say happened on Twitter.

If coalition governments are more democratic it’s crazy how France, Austria, Germany, and Czech Republic (and probably more) all support genocide, prevent protests against it, accuse citizens of being antisemites, and veto attempts by international courts to do something about genocide. But then again, other coalitions like in Belgium can go against the trend.

At least Canada’s two party system turned away from Trump. Canadians did better with two parties than other countries can do with 20.

If you believe women came from a rib, then you must accept that women were meant to be as equals to men. They aren’t made from foot bones. They aren’t made from our skull. It’s ribs. Why would you draw out women from the center and have her stand beside Adam if you wanted women to be slaves?

This is about everyone suffering from gender dysphoria. They say they’re attacking trans people, who make up a small fraction of society, but they’re attacking treatments for a diagnosis anyone could have. This stuff helps a lot of people, more than we might typically think about.
