  • This is what I was thinking about. Big wars might wind down like that but there's almost overwhelming pressure to stand down. Israel isn't about to collapse, they were never in a position where they were close to defeat, they've more or less been shaping negotiations from week 1, and this is a wound they've been picking at for decades.
