I have so much pothos and spider plants. They grow in anything I swear.

My theory on concrete and plants:

1. Thats a LOT of dirt and material without any competition for the roots.
2. Water/moisture is in the cracks/holes/etc… so it helps the plant with constant moisture control.
3. Some plants know how to take care of rocks and paths are just big rocks.
4. Random selection as this one seed is extremely good at surviving.

Just some thoughts. I have a fruit tree that LOVES it next to concrete. I get fruit every year from that thing.

I think in theory it would be easier to repair. But it is 250 which is quite a bit.

I forget where but the developer goes over the cost of the physical hardware a couple of years ago somewhere. Its kinda expensive to make your own open source ebook reader from mostly scratch.

Im seeing an update every month and ive never experienced any ghost touches.

Not exactly what you are looking for but: https://piefed.social/f/fediversevideos has a LOT of channels and communities (like our sister community at !peertube@lemmy.wtf). If your on piefed, you can subscribe to the feed.

https://peertube.wtf/ has quite a few instances but it can be a bit on the slow side. peertube has issues with a lot of federation once the servers get 1000+ sources. The videos are fine, its just finding the videos that continues to be the issues.

I have a crowview with some custom cords/setup as my laptop pi. It goes on all trips to meetups. Its a fun little setup.

They test a LOT of the packages from what I understand. Not a good or bad thing but it does make things harder to update as time goes on.

We are seeing a general decline thats for sure.

My union made my healthcare much better and is the reason behind my raise. Its great!
