It may work ok for curling, figure skating, or cross country, but you get into anything involving a slope and it starts to get really dangerous if you don’t know what you’re doing. Think moguls, big air, or ski jumping.
Technically more of an engineering / maker channel, but Xyla Foxlin is great. She does occasionally swear, but a 12 year old has probably heard those words before. Yeetmas, where she launches a Christmas tree rocket, would be a good place to start. (Not a Christmas tree themed rocket, a decorated pine tree on top rocket motor as long as your arm.)

The article is about ski jumping, not racing. This will be the first year the women are allowed to compete on the larger hill, so we’ll see, though I suspect their lower average body weight will mean they’ll carry less momentum into air.
For anyone who hasn’t heard this one: When the Concorde flew at supersonic speeds, the airframe got hot enough that it expanded about a foot longer than it was on the ground. This opened up a small gap between the flight engineer’s console and the rear bulkhead of the cockpit. On each plane’s final flight, the flight engineers stuffed their hats into the gap, which then closed up after cooling off.
I’m a big fan of the coach uniform. I like it better than anything we saw on Discovery or Picard, probably because it looks so similar to the TNG uniform.
They’re not listed in the top counties list in the corner, so I suspect No Data Available became 0% when coloring in. Otherwise, maybe most people live on the ranch they work at?
