  • They’re becoming more common though. The Sony oled I just got does 4k120. I’m bummed it doesn’t have hdmi 2.1 though. VRR would have been nice but maybe the hardware is powerful enough it won’t need it.

  • The mbin fork of kbin is still being worked on and fedia.io is pretty active.

  • If you already have a good sized steam library then take a look at how much of your games are “deck verified” to run on it and decide from there. I have a decent desktop pc with a 4070 ti and 9900k cpu and I still do most of my gaming on my steam deck.

  • Oblivion remastered runs perfectly fine on my steam deck.

  • Yes I wasn’t clear. They aren’t obvious for rear seat passengers. They are in a reasonable and semi obvious place for front seat passengers. The very first time I was in a model y I pulled the emergency door pull thinking that was the handle.

  • The model Y has mechanical emergency door openers in the front. Not in the rear. It complains about possibly breaking window trim when you use them.

They are not super obvious though and you’d have to know in an emergency.

  • Yeah this line of reasoning is as stupid as the religious people “world is ending” global warming meme that this trash is stealing from.

  • These new snapdragon based windows laptops have to be a serious wake up call for intel. General personal computing is quickly moving away from x86 and the latest “efficiency” core processors from intel can’t compete.

  • I think intel is in serious trouble. The market is shifting away from x86 for mainstream computers and intel just can’t compete with ARM devices on power. These snapdragon based windows laptops coming out are performing really well for most use cases and it’s going to relegate x86 to just gamers and high end workstation use.

  • If you want something that lets you physically remove a WiFi card check out the frameworks laptop. Other than them there is no such thing as a “WiFi card” in laptops, it’s all fully integrated now and I’d be surprised to see a new laptop from factory without some version of WiFi built in.

  • Cars with heat pumps scavenge heat from the motor(s) as well.

  • Can’t charge at all. PHEVs don’t really need fast charging anyway.

  • That’s not sushi. That’s seared ahi tuna over what looks like fried rice noodles with sauce.
