  • I use a 2014 mac mini as my main server lol. I replaced the HDD with an off the shelf SATA SSD, installed fedora server, and I now have a compact nextcloud and forgejo host :3

    I can confirm that the use of "foamer" is also present in Canada as well. The wikipedia article really makes the word sound derogatory, but in practice (with the people I know that use it) it's really just used as an easy and playful way of saying "railfan".

    The work you've done on Blorp is really good. It's my favourite UI for accessing the Threadiverse. I used Voyager for a while, but I when I tried bloorp, it was just better. One thing that Bloorp does that the Piefed UI did not do last time I tried was the ability to upload images in comments, so you're doing pretty well there.
