Hi guy

  • Microsoft is the Bayer of this Holocaust.

  • Some say brave, but all that crypto crap and a few scandals has me saying no.

Vivaldi, which started by the original Opera Deva after the browser was bought by a Chinese corp is pretty OK. Lots of the google stuff removed. Very customizable. Still works with ublock.

Other than that, on android there's chromite - no google blobs. Chromium on Linux - but it still has the google blobs.

  • You can listen on that site.

One is RAYch The other is RAHch

  • Google is making users/consumers not want to use/consume google things by making those things more difficult, more invasive, less user friendly to use/consume.

    That's it. That's all.

If I just want to watch a clip that I could before but now I have to sign in because it thinks I'm a not, NO

If it wants me to watch ads for things I'll never buy and actually forces me to, NO.

If it kills the front ends I prefer to use, or kills the ability to watch via proxy, for my privacy and/or security. NO.

If it feeds me Nazi shit without clicking a single link on a new install on a new browser with no profile on a new IP, fucking NO.

  • 10% of gross revenue would be better.

Profits can always be turned to "losses" with clever accounting and shell corps (see Hollywood accounting)

And net values can always be offset by deductions and other costs.

    You can't fuck with gross.

  • Short for Rachel?

Funny, the UK pronunciation for Rach is the way I would pronounce it, even though I'm Canadian and the Canadian way it gives I've never heard anyone say:

    [ˈreɪ.tʃ'] RAY-ch

  • Unsure if Shakespeare is now porn.

Will jerk to twelfth night and report back tomorrow if paper cuts aren't too severe.

Actual questions: is a mental image caused by a book an image? How will they define image? What is pornograph-y/ic? Is sex ed / biology exempt?

  • To date, after having gooned once (ongoing since September 2023), my core executive functions, my cognitive abilities and my behaviors have not suffered in the least. In fact, potato.

  • There are 4 horses.

3 have already rode (ridden?) in.

    (The image is real)

  • Pay no attention to the fabulous new watches and luxury car the judge starts to drive.

A case that affects a broad range of people, such as this one, out be given sentencing by a broad range of people.

Nor a single judge who likely has no technical knowledge or experience that would allow him the wisdom to know what the fuck he is doing and what the (non) consequence of his ruling mean.

  • Maybe he was replaced with a robot body double...

  • Gives the guillotine industry a reason to exist.

  • Yes

If it's a memory hog app and another memory hog app and you have a tonne of background services running and you have limited memory, the oom is gonna make sure there's enough memory to run the app.

And if you have the private profile unlocked and a secondary user profile which you've allowed to run in the background...well, you just might run into some problems.

Then again, on graphene, app depending, it could be one of the security settings that is causing it to drop it's cache and reload.

Or, it could be the app itself.

Battery optimization, permissions, a privacy toggle, who knows?

The only way to truly keep 2 open is to do split screen.

I am also on grapheneOS on a 9 with 12Gb ram.

And even with that, I know a browser or two that doesn't handle switching very well.

But, because of the limited information, it's difficult to know where to focus.

PS. Did you try reading the logs for the app when they reset to see what's happening?

  • I have a few HP printers that probably have more value in their metal scraps than they do as functional printers.

    Seriously.

    Now,

    1. you are prevented from using a cartridge if it was used in another printer.
    2. If you don't eternally subscribe to the instant ink program, your instant ink cartridges are fucking locked out.
    3. They have 8600 different types of cartridges so you'll never find the right one you thought you had an extra of in the closet.
    4. DRM and telling you the cartridge is empty when it isn't.
    5. DRM and not being able to get 3rd party refill
    6. Fuck HP

I didn't buy the printers, they were my moms. The printers themselves are still fine. But, fuck this ink locking shit, they worked fine 2 weeks ago and now they're garbage.

    Ink isn't expensive.

But because HP wants to be pieces of shit and charge $2000 per litre and brick shit because ...."hackers" fuck HP

  • Enjoy the very momentary joy of trumps death when it happens.

If it happens in this term, you'll find out exactly what Vance is.

  • Sign up for 10 different free accounts of Proton Drive? It has 5gb free cloud storage.

Though I always prefer the simple physical backup to SD card and backup to PC.

I also have a simple sshd server and use sftp when I'm feeling frisky.

Sending from any device to any device using KDE connect is good too.
