Press any key to continue... No, not that one!

  • What if I told you you were debating with a 14 year old who's using AI to sound cool?

  • I think the person you replied to is just assuming it's off by default. But if there's a kill switch, that implies that it's on. And if not, there wouldn't be any need for a kill switch.

  • I’ve seen some people claim that free speech doesn’t apply on servers like reddit because they are privately owned. So Constitutional rights don’t extend to private property?

Not when you don't have a right to be on said property. If you come in my house using language I don't approve of, I will ask u to leave and you will :)

I would refute most of the other arguments you made, but full of logical fallacies. Would take too long. Genuinely curious though: how old are you?

  • Is this really new just because AI is here, though? Even before AI, any kid that was an over-achiever, actually studied unlike their peers, continues to work harder to achieve greater things (even when the masses don't) experiences this exact same path all their life.

  • presses Esc key

  • Nice feature. Out of curiosity, by "score" do you mean upvotes or the net ratio of upvotes and downvotes?

  • I follow Lemmy RSS feeds from openrss because it localizes all of the feed links to my own instance regardless of the instance the RSS feed content is on. Wish Lemmy's feeds this by default.

You can read more about them at this link: https://openrss.org/feeds/lemmy

  • Is this any different from how one starts to look as they grow older in age?

  • Anybody else hungry?

  • ...and posted in programming... sigh

  • The Chinese have it right with the food too. Love me egg foo yung

  • And probably not as intentional as most people think it is vs just laziness and maybe a lack of planning.

  • Would surely overload servers too, as an infinite amount of instances make tons of requests all at once at random times. Oof.

  • Nice. I use Allsides.com. it's a nonprofit org with no incentive to be biased. Very short summaries by topic and even tells you how each topic is being covered by the propoganda media. It's the only us fed news source I have in my rss feed collection.

  • Yeah founder made an update here.

  • AI like another poster said. But I'm sure it being a youtube video has something to do with it too. A lot of us would rather read then watch a youtube video. Some people also dont like youtube and would rather not support it.

  • Yeah very insecure
