  • So I actually killed my previous linux distro using hirens bootcd, and the firmware update didnt work for whatever strange reason but windows inserted random shit into my partition on boot which required a full reinstall of my distro. maybe phoenix pe would work idk, i'll see if a laptop can handle it

    well, theres also the argument that other species of genus homo gave us more genetic diversity after that event

  • I think security wise linux can do better, I'd like to see more isolation of processes. I find accessibility is lacking as well, particularly translation and ocr software. I think this is actually something local visual ai models would be very good at but are not leveraged for in open source.
