Is there a reason to upgrade to 8k in a normal home? I feel like we’re starting to get to the audiophile zone here where there is no perceptible difference. I guess for really big screens?
There is nothing more heroic in my eyes than ordinary people risking harm to make sure we have evidence of all these atrocities. Not only is it smart, it’s brave as fuck and absolutely necessary.
I really had fun with it though the city building aspect starts to feel too loading bar heavy. I wish they had a more clever way to disguise that aspect of it.
I read this somewhere else but people are also modifying these ebikes to no longer be bikes at all including removing pedals and adding a throttle. I don’t know if an outright ban os the proper step but stiff fines and maybe even confiscation of modded bikes seem justified.
The Steam Deck was a real home run for them. I guess we will see for sure when the new lineup but it sure seems like they’ve could become a competitive hardware company and I’d love to see what else is up their sleeve.
My long time wish has been for a truly open Linux based iPhone competitor. Maybe too far outside their wheelhouse still but can you imagine a Steam Phone?
I mean at this point I'm all in on Ukraine and I'm sorry to see my comment interpreted as anything but the hope that Ukraine could get the support they are asking for.
I know peace deals are precarious and complicated, but I dream of nothing less than pre 2014 borders, the end of all Russian hostilities, and a defense pact, if not full inclusion, between Ukraine and the EU.
