  • I set a friend as an emergency contact for my Bitwarden vault, so he can request access, and if I don't deny it within 2 weeks he's granted access.

I'm also working on a kind of digital dead man switch. Basically, I'll make it so that you give it some last messages, which are assigned to groups of recipients. The service will send you an email at a specified interval (for example, every month) with a link in it. If you don't click on the email a few times, you're marked as dead and the last messages get sent out to their corresponding recipients.

  • Yeah same, this is not a very popular opinion here but I just like the default Ubuntu with some minor changes

  • 150$‽‽ wtf

  • Brave doesn't have such an option, I just installed Firefox and it works well. I think I'll keep it!

  • I hate this stupid website. Who thought this is a good design‽

  • Using someone's open-source software doesn't mean you support them (unless you donate or something)

  • It's not open source so nah

  • So which browser should those who are unfortunate enough to use iOS use?

  • True, I don't think there's really a good solution to this (other than getting rid of capitalism)

  • Yeah open source monetization sucks in the corporate world. Maybe there could be a license that goes something along the lines of "you may use this for free as long as your company's yearly revenue isn't over X €"

  • I hate this trope, such unoriginal writing

  • Aren't there any petitions or pressure campaigns against google's overreach?

This is just an app lock improvement. Google does plenty of overreach, but this is not it.
