  • You know what, thank you. 46% of discretionary spending in 2024. Just looked it up.

  • Its part of consolidating power in the executive. Congress used to have to approve a lot and legislate. Now they dont pass any laws and the president and his cabinet make policy. They've been working on the Supreme Court too, trying to consolidate courts power in the executive as well. Not quite done yet, but most court decisions from the unqualified scum he appoints are just rubber stamps of "the executive has plenary power." There's a reason that word caught people's attention when Miller said it.

  • The president used to have to make his case to congress before starting a war with another sovereign nation. Not anymore. Everything now automatically qualifies as defensive/police action or some other phrase to mean that war is now just a regular part of how we keep ourselves secure. No need to ask if a particular one is justified.

Now the president is asking if he can use the military against the citizens of its own country. Something that should only be allowed in the most extreme cases. We're talking once in a lifetime events, once in a century. Rarer maybe. Maybe never. And after they give him the thumbs up, anything will become the justification for using the military on its own people. Just part of how we keep people safe.

We spend the overwhelming majority of our budget revenue on the military. When the only tool you have is a hammer, everything looks like a nail. Ill tell you what, I dont feel safe and secure. And doing this shit makes me feel less safe and secure.

  • Its authentic. Snoop came by the gangster lifestyle honestly, he grew up that way.

Changing your views to be more progressive, when you are person with a public image, may be disingenuous. I'm not going to form an opinion on his true motives, but plenty of people will.

  • Yeah, if Trump and Vance are examples of the alpha republican, I dont want to be an alpha. Beta is fine with me.

  • The kind of damage that improves the world. For the people that are left afterward. Like eugenics.

  • If AOC wins the presidency and they primary all the incumbents, maybe. Maybe.

  • No we cant. We dont have police on our side.

  • This isnt Democrats or Republicans we have e yo watch ou for. Its people defending capital from labor. Dems are not a labor party, they are a neoliberal party.

  • I mean broken clock amd all that.

For me, this is like reporting old man Joe, that hangs out at the bar down the street, has been saying he thinks Trump is going to far.

    Cool.

  • Bribes are much cheaper than doing it legitimately. Thats why they do it.

  • The dedication to the bit is really something. Not a single crack showing, just smooth plaster.

  • They'll take it if you're offering...

  • Easy, like all of them. Shes had the easiest life you could have. Worst thing that happened in her life is she got dumped.

Anyone with a Wikipedia page with a philanthropy section cannot qualify as a bad bitch imo.

  • Yes we can!

    Someone had to...

  • Its propaganda in the media giving these people the thin veneer of false equivalence, and censorship in social media. They squash the stuff Trump does t like and boost his signal so they dont become the next target.

We need independent media that can reach everyone.

  • "Why dont you stupid Americans organize or something?"

They won't let us. We're trying.

  • If everywhere you go people aren't nice to you, what's the common denominator? This is like elementary school level emotional intelligence.

  • It's enough to change the result of an election.
