They love it, it's the best job they ever had. They get to do what they've always wanted--have power over people, order them around, and beat the shit out of them as much as they want, knowing they won't be held accountable.

There's nothing about Meet the Press or Graham in this article so I don't why you're talking about them. The article is reporting on the lies and slander the regime's government officials are standing behind a podium and stating as official facts. People need to know they can't trust them or believe what they say.

Protests help immensely. We see we aren't alone, we realize how many people feel the same as we do and join them. Strength in numbers. Not just in protests but in all the other work. Observe, film, document. Boycott bootlicker companies. Do not feed the oligarchs, do not comply.
Encourage and support each other, aid those being oppressed. Everyone can contribute however they can contribute, each action or dollar small in itself but a major force taken as a whole. Large numbers showing up in the open enables the smaller numbers working behind the scenes.
It's planned in advance--they decide that they want the funding to pass and decide who will take the heat and vote for it--those in safe re-election districts, and just enough of them for it to pass. That way the rest of them can say "who me? I voted against it!" But except for maybe a few who really were opposed, the rest of them all agreed to pass the bill.
Yep, the only reason I say they'll more likely just threaten him with it to make him "voluntarily" step down is that his followers would rebel against Vance if he outright power ousts him with the 25th.
But I think he (actually they, the whole cadre that are running things) will go ahead and actually invoke it if trump refuses to cooperate. It'll just take more work--either a propaganda effort of video clips, rumors, leaks of "doctor reports" and "off-camera incidents", etc. to convince his cult that he really is unable to continue, or more likely something might just "unfortunately happen" to him. They just have to make sure the magats don't smell a rat and turn on them.
Oh, and the reason to wait until beginning of next year is so Vance will be able to run for two more full terms.
I predict Vance, et. al. will be doing an effective 25nd Amendment move after the midterms--not needing to actually invoke it but threatening trump with it if he doesn't play along with their plans. There are lots of ways to manipulate him with both carrots and sticks. Assuming repubs keep their majority in Congress, (see the next paragraph), trump will conveniently have a health crisis that forces him to "retire" next year. Of course he might go ahead and have one without help anyway, but this is assuming he doesn't.
The wild card is how the midterms will go, which I can't predict. Will they be free and fair "normal" elections? I seriously doubt it. Lots of red states have one or two blue House seats. Repub-majority red states have been working on stacking election boards and judges ever since 2020 and they're ready. They'll make sure those blue House seats turn red, no redistricting is even needed, just manipulation of the voting process--purging the voter rolls on the front end and not counting as many ballots as needed on the back end.
The only way this article could be more fitting for this community is if there had been more than one snow leopard.
