  • Yeah, it really depends on the dogs' own experiences with humans. Can't really blame them for living the only way they learned how to.

  • Me, after being chased by a pack of wild dogs frothing at the mouth for 15 minutes: I feel better already.

You sure it's not the cardio which does all the heavy lifting?

  • Elon Musk successfully did the thing. Donald Trump also successfully did the thing. And several others like them successfully did the thing.

Does being successful at a thing make you a role model? ... Not really.

Success or failure matter less than what you learn from it. And I think most of us would agree that the above examples learned the wrong fucking things.

  • Yeah, when you see someone on a regular basis and inadvertently get to see their habits, them doing something outside the usual discombobulates you and has you react unnaturally. For some people, that has them default to a tease. Repeat it enough times and that in itself becomes a habit and a form of connection between like "it's something we do". Of course, it's a one-sided feeling that can happen for both parties at the same time, because it is a form of social connection we tend to default to.

I'd say you ought to talk it out and try to make different habits together to replace the ones that might make one or the other uncomfortable. However, the tone should initially be conciliatory as the mind can go through a lot of hoops when it comes to sensitive topics and we can get defensive when it comes to personality.

  • He's about to and he'd rather go to hell than do it alone!

  • I thought the white whale was the biggest dick of all time?

  • U sure it's not because they gave a death sentence to their own coup attempter?

  • No, the comment i replied to was talking about abuse. And abuse is rampant in the world, not easily preventable. If you don't prepare yourself for when it will happen to you, and we all know it will, the shock will likely be too much to bear.

Slowly building resilience would mean that even without a strong support system, the person won't collapse when encountering an abusive situation.

In a world where you can't be there for them and the world itself doesn't support them, you gotta prepare them for when they'll have no choice but to be on their own.

  • Uh huh. Is that why the global state of affairs is what it is, because it's easily preventable? We're being abused in every which way and you think it's easily preventable... Really?

  • Oh my, you really need to sue your educators.

  • They saw what's happening up east.

  • Power play. Humiliation. Forced submission. A psychological flaw where one becomes aroused by the thought of dominating someone who believes themselves in a position of power.

Fascists generally think of themselves as superior, so having one bent over a barrel and turned into a sex slave is more about destroying that sense of superiority.

At least that's how I reason it at the moment.

  • Yes it is. The mommy which supports you in everything is a mommy you can trust!

  • :)

  • They're heavy into ai crap nowadays.

  • I work because I'm stuck on this planet and can't take a ship to fuck off into space.

  • But it's not the same Taliban! One were locals, the other yokels. Subtle, but important difference!
