My biggest concern with this is that it opens the door wide for China to attack Taiwan. No laws are left. I'm not Taiwanese or anything, but we all know how reliant the world economy is on both countries, and just the semiconductors issue is a major blow for the US economy, to which they cannot sit and watch.
If the US goes into that, it's anyone's game, and obv WW3. Russia can't sit that out either, given their new status.
It's technically a tax haven, but for the UK tax dodger it is really a bit of heaven.
These territories have really taken the piss beyond belief, yet the public discourse has been dominated by Brexit and migration for 15 years.
It's what happens when a few clowns own all the media and real journalism is dead
