  • There are a couple as I see it. You have the religious fundamentalists, I think this is mainly seen in the rules and court cases allowing people to be asses backed by religion. They also are trying to push their ideas nationwide, this is at odds sometimes with the next group. You have the anti-federalists, to them anything the federal government does is evil (especially if its not their rules). This is the ripping out of all the federal departments. They don't see any good coming from them. Any tax is theft, and any money spent is wasted. (military excluded). The third group is similar to group 2, but they are just anti-regulation. "the free market will figure it out". Now I don't think any of these groups have good ideas, but the only reason they are doing what they are doing is because they have ideas and have been working on it for a long time.

  • Probably cookies, I did another quick test and created a new profile. The front page was unpopulated. I went to a technology connections video, and the refreshed the front page. It was populated, cleared stored information, (history, cookies, cache, etc...) and when I refreshed the homepage it was blank again.

The fairly default browser I used to take the screenshot is to watch some free with ads movies on youtube, most recently was waterworld, fun to watch, makes no sense.

  • Its not this simple, it looks like this to me on my fairly locked down browser (firefox), but on a fresh profile (image attached), that page is populated. I assume its a cookie setting, as I see the same behavior when I turn off tracking protection and ad blockers. I didn't play around beyond that.

  • This is their FAQ about connectivity, I almost simply linked the page, but realized if you can't access it, you can't see the FAQ. https://catbox.moe/faq.php

  • I think I've seen this with audio for both.

  • I feel called out.

  • Similar to nitro for a user, but for a server as a whole. At various levels it add features to servers. Bigger files, more sticker slots, Banners, animated server icons, higher quality streaming, more options for invite links and how they appear...

  • umm, no. I use work chats for work, and personal chats for personal. I might accidentally add the wrong colleague to a work chat, or wrong friend to a personal chat, but I'm never going to accidentally add a friend to a work chat because I don't mix work and personal chats.

  • Assuming he believes his words (as opposed to using rhetoric to get what he or someone around him wants, in either case unfortunately, I think he's serious). I think he sees anything purchased from another country as "subsidizing" that country. To him, its money the US had that Canada now has. I sometimes think he somehow thinks the US should be given things, because...??? Every transaction has to have a "winner" and a "looser" and whoever has a + on the balance sheet is the winner, it doesn't matter what that + really means. (I can only bend my logic so far to try to figure these things out)

  • I DON'T AGREE WITH MOST OF THE FOLLOWING. what follows is simply my best guess.

Different people are going to have different reasons, the first two are the majority of the voters the rest are for the owner class.

    1. Take the following statements to be true: Taxation is theft, government action is evil. If you apply no other logic, many of the actions make sense. The CFPB is government action, therefore evil and should be removed.
    2. ANY regulation impedes the free market. CFPB is a regulation it impedes the free market
    3. It helps the selfish people doing it. They will be able to take more risky positions at the expense of the public and make money.
  • Once every few months I try to clear out a bunch. The last time was probably close to 150. Some are reminders, I really should do it a better way, but its really easy to forget about something in a bookmark and sometimes I just want to remember to come back to some silly comic and having it sometimes in view is enough. Honestly yea there is a chance loosing the tabs would cause me to tap out. For unloaded tabs they aren't in history and some of them have been there for... years. It would really bother me to not know what was lost.

  • (~600 tabs) I don't turn it off, but I do put it to sleep. The growth is usually looking into something, or finding something interesting I want to come back to. Each time that happens it probably adds ~20 tabs. I'm almost always on my computer, or a computer sitting just next to it.

  • I'm a fan.

  • Such a clever kitty.

  • Fire is fast, and I think you usually die of smoke inhalation first Freezing to death outside of being in water would be slow.

  • The antlers through the roof, a deer driving a hunting truck, the cluster in the shape of a paw, the tense cheetah cop uses. Its a classic. (I didn't notice all of these the first time I saw it years ago) https://yiffit.net/post/2957855

  • I hate to tell you this, but if you thought that that was convincing, I think you have your answer.
