  • My feelings in all this:

Why are Americans not protesting. Are they stupid?

    Then

Okay, at least some are really not cool with this.

    Then

Oh wait, those Americans not being cool with this must feel really damn bad.

So here’s one European saying thank you for your protests. You are not alone.

  • I love how media is always ‘Nooo we can’t ban facebook because it undermines democracy because this dog hairdresser club in the suburbs use it for member communication twice per year’

  • Why do we need social media? Can’t we just not have social media?

I know a lot of people are dependant on them now, but substitutes for the really important bits already exists :)

  • In that case, you’ve re-earned my respect (some of you).

  • I get you’re economically shackled already, but I just don’t believe the ‘too big/diverse to strike’-argument.

It just needs to start somewhere. And it probably evetually will now your president really fucked us all over.

  • I wouldn’t not protest to save the economy now, since that is out the window.

I don’t know if occupy accomplished anything, but the George Floyd protests were massive.

Americans can protest. I just don’t get the late stage capitalism stockholm syndrome.

  • I’m not asking for all of you. Just the ones that doesn’t want this to happen.

  • Will do.

But could you all please like do a general strike, or lock down cities by protesting this shit?

  • Sure but counting on this as a forever state of the US is … risky.

  • This is wild. Russia claims to feel threatened by Nato and then attacks Ukraine. But Americans in Greenland is not a threat to them?

    This is all bollocks.

If you can’t leave social media, then at least follow something that bores you today. It will make you less addicted and their data less valuable.

  • :)

Which is funny because it is the way to go - trusting linkedin to do it for you is the long way around. If you don’t have it, you will need to be more active (and that will be more succesful).

But i see recruiters having a harder time :)

  • This is just a short note to promote the idea:

In supermarkets people have started turning us products upside down to signal - without destroying - that this product should be avoided.

Just for those that haven’t seen it :)

  • I could totally see the US blaming europeans not Russians, if this was proven a GRU operation.

  • Deleted it. Haven’t missed it all.

Everyone i know that actually used it for job hunting, found themselves in line with 8000 other auto-applications, so I don’t even think it is good for job-hunting.

When/if i need a new job, I’ll much rather call up previous colleagues and contacts and see what they’re up to and meet for coffee.

  • This would be wild if it was done by russian agents to stir tensions between us and EU.

    It probably isn’t. But damn.

  • I’m conflating things by sarcastically pointing to the fault lines that should be there between two opposite entities? That does not make sense.

I know you’re not all represented by this regime. I’m wondering why we see no large scale protests for those of you not liking this.

  • What do you mean they’re mutually exclusive?

I’m all for you guys getting of the couch, and I’ll be happy to hear about your protests?

  • The rhetoric is probably because your leadership is backstabbing its allies, allying with dictators and removing rights and dignity for its own citizens. But I’m just guessing.

  • Jeg er vild med det. Det er fa’me jobskabelse!

Jeg har nu selv købt en og jeg drikker ikke engang sodavand :)
