J'étais sous eOS, mais les défauts du store d'applications et les applications de bases m'ont frustré suffisamment pour que je teste autre chose quand j'ai changé de téléphone.
Avec blokada en VPN local (version 4 pour choisir le DNS ), j'arrive à un résultat similaire à ce que eOS offre en termes de bloqueurs de pub et de tracker.
J'utilise F-droid (et l'aurora store), avec un maximum de dépôts des développeurs activés, pour une meilleure réactivité des mises à jour. Et izzyondroid, parce que le dépôt compile directement depuis le git, les mises à jours se font dans les 24h qui suivent les mises à jours git. on reste super réactif.
Pour le navigateur : iron fox (fork de feu Mull) un firefox haredened, avec un bloqueur de pub en extension pour être tranquille.
Pour les mail : fairemail. Le dev fait un super boulot, très axé vie privée (éviter la version du dépôt fdroid si vous voulez y ajouter un compte gmail, la signature est différente de celle du git )
Spamblocker : appli sur fdroid qui bloque les spam. Il faut y ajouter des listes, mais c'est terriblement efficace contre le démarchage français qui est cantonné à des numéros définis
Pour l'appli caméra : une version de Gcam, ca donne ses résultats plus efficaces que opencamera.
Based onUbuntu : PopOS (not so sure about its current state, their cosmic desktop isn't released yet)
Beginner friendly : Mint, most of gaming distro (cachy might be a bit more advanced )
I do not know much about the current state of snaps, so I won't recommend Ubuntu and derivatives (kubuntu, Xubuntu...). I guess it is easier to use .deb now, but I can't call beginner friendly a distro that require terminal or tweaks to change packages you can install on it.
Murena ? as the murena foundation that develop /e/OS ?
If yes, their OS is based on LineageOS microG edition with a great ad/tracker blocker and an app store that is kind of a fusion between the aurora store and fdroid (without the ability to add repositories unfortunately, in the version I used at least).
So you can install whatever apps you want with it(Except maybe android auto, I guess).
I had my banking app and it worked well (until it detected I was root).
I used it with my oneplus 7, It had some big trouble these last months as their servers were outdated and they needed to update their whole infrastructure. Now, everything seems to be back to normal.
I can not say for their phones (murena 1 and 2), but their OS is solid to me.
Only one package to maintain for an application, even if they have different distributions to maintain. If snap is officially supported by the creator of the application, then it's less work for Canonical.
Well, it would have make more sens if flatpak didn't exist.

What I love the most from bazzite team, is their work with distrobox . Install the distribution you love, follow their tutorial, boom, you get access to the AUR, and it has a minimal impact on your system.
Bazzite felt great to me, but too slow on my computer to enjoy it, so I hopped. But still, I love what they do.
7 months distro hopping sober here ! All thanks to CachyOS.
The installation is seamless thanks to calamares, there are some graphic tools that can help for beginners on arch.
Their kernel might be one of the most optimised one to have a smooth experience while gaming. I do not play ressources hungry games, so I can not really tell.
After setting snapshots, I decided to experience it totally blind folded, just to see how long I can last on it. I update the system around 2 times a week, never read any changelog, just like any of the other distro I used... And for now, I've never had any trouble.
My system seems to be way smoother and more responsive than with fedora or tumbleweed.
I use my computer mostly for steam, heroic, librewolf and LibreOffice.
Jouer à un jeu Microsoft ? Déjà, ça mérite le bûcher (quoi, comment ça ils possèdent la moitié des studios de dev de la planète ?).
Je ne pense pas que jouer sur windows soit un péché, tant que tu te sens coupable. Si j'étais toi, j'éviterais de prendre du plaisir quand je joue sous windows, on ne sait jamais quand le Jugement Dernier se produira.
Pour la compatibilité hardware, as tu essayé des kernel customs ? Style celui de cachyOS, qui a pas mal de patchs non présents dans le kernel standard.
La GLF (Gaming Linux Fr) a sorti une distribution basée sur NixOS. Ils ont un discord fort de 3000 membres, avec une communauté super motivée ! Si tu veux laisser une dernière chance à Linux pour le côté jeux, regarde de ce côté. Ils ont des canaux d'entraide et maitrisent bien la majorité des distributions.
Clairement... j'ai gardé ma partition W10 jusqu'à ce que windows décide de passer à W11 sans me demander et que je découvre candy crush et d'autres applications de m**de sur mon PC.
