I checked the app on Exodus via the app lounge. There are lot of trackers that might be blocked by /e/os. One or more of them might be necessary for the app to run. Go to advance privacy in the parameters of the phone and try to allow some of them.

Other option, might be the mock location of /e/os that can block the application, if this option is activated, try allowing stepup to bypass it.

I have fairscan and OSS docs scanner installed. Fairscan has few parameters, You can choose where to save your PDF in the parameters.

If you are afraid of being limited by flatpak for bazzite, (or any other distro but arch), you can use this :

an Arch container using distrobox that can run in every distro.

If it’s only for the games, maybe using steam flatpak can help. So the packages needed for gaming on steam will be up to date (if you have an NVIDIA card it will still be a problem I guess). And install maybe protonup-qt (don’t know if it is still used or replaced, sorry) to manage your proton versions and download the versions needed.

In addition, check protondb website to see if the problem you encounter are known and if it can be solved whether with a different version of proton or a command line in steam launcher exe of the game.
