Americans are the 'immigrants' on this continent, and they are using their customs and border enforcement to arrest people who are natives to the continent.
It's ironic that a team designed to deport immigrants is arresting people who have been here longer than the country has existed.
Yes I understand that renewable adoption is accelerating, but so are CO2 emissions.
And there is a problem that these charts don't consider. An increase in energy generation from one source does not mean that there will be a decrease in power generation of another. We will just have both sources in an additive relationship.
But that's just capitalism baby! More! More! More!
While I agree that non-violent is the way to go, I think we need to change our definition of "violence."
Property destruction should not be considered violent. Especially when precautions are specifically taken to ensure that no people were harmed during act of property destruction or sabotage.
On the other side of things, actions such as destroying wildlife habitat or polluting the air, water, and soil systems of the Earth should be considered "violence." It is violence towards all of humanity, and towards life itself.
Maybe the plan should be to destroy fossil fuel infrastructure via Ecotage/eco-sabotage.
Maybe we can weaken and start dismantling the fascist government following the guidelines of the CIA's Citizen Sabotage Field Manual from 1944.
Maybe we eat the rich.
So instead of asking what the plan is sarcastically, try asking it genuinely. Just because an answer sounds ridiculous and difficult, doesn't mean it will fail.
The discussion needs to lead towards finding which plan would be most effective and why/why not.
They probably knew..
But the prison/military industrial complex incentivizes crime, as it perpetuates poverty. And more poverty means more people arewilling to work for less money.
Cheaper labor equals higher profits.
Considering how much rail regulations and budgets have been slashed in the past few years, we will probably end up using it as a feature. Safety hackers will need to make sure trains stop on the correct place/time, because there are only 1-2 employees for a 300 car train.
Or alternatively, tune in and subscribe for 'Twitch Drives a Cargo Train!'
I still think it's about money, especially considering the size of the prison industrial complex. It just so happens that capitalism encourages cruelty when it's profitable.
The USA is already holds the record for most prisoners per capita, why do they need more?...
