I wish you good.

  • Well Tycho Brahe dabbled in that astrology stuff and died of mercury poisoning. Then after, half his nose came off and Johannes Keppler said "fuck that astrology stuff", popularized astronomy and now we have flying cars in space. True story.

  • Jojoba oil seems a very good suggestion, certainly cold pressed. I might try that.

  • I use Mixa ceramide protect. Fairly inexpensive, 400ml for 8 euro. Takes care of my dry skin, red irritation and itching beard.

  • No no...purrrree kitchen aid.

  • "I aim at ze stars, but sometimes I hit London"

    Werner von Braun probably

  • But what about the occasional fist bump in the face for flipping someone off?

Heh, an hour too late with that joke... @FelixCress

  • The Van Halen tribute band

  • Chainsmoker here

  • My son pays 1800€ per year for his IT education, and we as parents would have paid for it if nessecary but it is covered by our government through ‘study finance’. Also covered is his health insurance and public transport. He lives at home, so without the cost for rent and living he will get through without debt, maybe even some savings when he earns his degree, which is required for him to get a job at the American company my wife works.

This company won't compensate your degree, (I don't know of any that do anymore after the dot-com bubble), but they will give you courses and further training to give you career options with higher pay.

  • Doug Henning got weirder though.

  • Hihihi....I recommend a robovac. My cat all of a sudden became a hero protecting us from the new vac and following it all around instead of hiding ASAP. Now he mostly just ignores it.

  • As a kid in the '70s, all the cartoons on Wednesday afternoons kids matinee...Vicky the Viking, Maya the Bee, Heidi, Remi, Pink Panther & Hong Kong Phooey.

  • Lamb's lettuce…it goes with anything.

  • Looks like Valkenburg in South Limburg, close where I live.

  • Now I want to eat Falafel. These Maoz guys made awesome falafel back in the ‘90s when I lived there.

These big American trucks are infesting our roads now too. They are technally not street legal because they are not measured to the same enviromental and safety standards compared to a European car for some reason beyond me.

The EU has not done anything yet, but there are many enviromental groups pressing the EU on getting these trucks banned.

Importing these trucks (and any truck) without paying any vehicle tax registration is getting cancelled in 2025 here in the Netherlands so let’s hope these trucks will get the fuck off our roads. This law was kind of a loop hole to import these trucks for cheap.

  • I was sleeping rough first days in Amsterdam tired and hungry, when a guy I met who had not much himself invited me to his squatted building and offered me potato and onion soup and a glass of port, a place to crash for a couple of days. I will always remember that kindness.

Bit different but I used to cook for the homeless being homeless and later squatting myself for a long time.

In Amsterdam we had "Squat cafe's" giving out vegetarian food for homeless people. We get the food from the street markets and cook up meals like pasta, bread and garlic butter, salad fruits and vegetables. Many market stalls throw a lot of food away and with some effort you can make a lot of people happy.

My wife and me (25 years later) bring food packets to the local charity program, last week we brought Christmas presents that they will give out next week. The project here is run by volunteers who collect food from the local supermarkets and distribute that to people in need that don't meet the criteria to apply for the official food bank. There are no questions asked, you can take a certain amount of products and there is advice where to get further assistance or government support.

It is hard to see people waiting for 2 hours in front of the building to get some food. Gets me triggered but I feel we are doing something good for them, although it is limited by only donating instead of volunteering.

  • Rosenbergs played the electric. Kushner played the acoustic for a wide audience.

  • Limburg Carnaval music. Hoompapa hoompapa…or Darude - Sandstorm on repeat.
