  • He said one of the deciding factors was "Biden's radical climate agenda." Oh, well! Good riddance. The world needs a radical climate agenda in my opinion and if you're not going to be part of the solution, then you're either contributing to the problem or standing in the way.

  • That's basically the situation with almost every fast food restaurant these days, some casual dinning places and even grocery stores.

  • You can limit when an app is allowed to access your location in Android. But I'm guessing it's used for finding the nearest restaurant to do mobile orders.

  • Location, Camera/photos, ( I assume for something like QR scanning), notification, audio.

  • Exactly. I guess at this point, I'm ok with some certain datapoints being collected. Mostly what they'll get from me is that I occasionally like a Sausage Egg McMuffin on my way to work. lol

  • I never go to McDonalds without using a code from the app. $2 breakfast sandwich? Cool. 20% off entire order? Cool. It's gotten to the point that using the app is necessary to get reasonably priced food. Without it, you're overpaying.

  • When they dropped the $1 iced tea, I knew shit got real.

  • I always think of the words from Millencolin's song No Cigar.

Cause I don't care where I belong no more

What we share or not I will ignore

And I won't waste my time fitting in

'Cause I don't think contrast is a sin

  • I just did a career day at my sons middle school a few weeks ago. It's still just as cringe and awkward as when I was there myself. haha!

  • In high school I hung out with all the punks and skaters. A lot of them would wear the studded jackets with patches and stuff. I didn't usually dress the part but I love punk music and I love the skate culture so I felt like I fit in there. We didn't care what anyone else thought or said to us. Social media and cell phones also weren't really a thing. Bullying is different now because of that and it's a real problem in many places. I'm sorry you had to take your daughter out of that school. I hope she knows there are people like her, who like the same kinds of music or the same kinds of clothes and that she's not a freak or a weirdo. School can be tough. Even as an adult people make jokes sometimes about the music I listen too, but you know what? I still don't care! lol

  • Nice try AI. I'm on to you!

  • The meme doesn't really work this way but... I'm bitter so whatever.

AI meme version 2.0... because reasons

  • I'll never understand the point of adding "nobody" on memes. It's just completely unnecessary for the joke.

  • I've never owned an Apple device in my life, but I would consider buying this for $200. That's more than worth what you're getting.

$3,500 is a joke though. I could spend less than that building an absolute beast of a gaming PC and get orders of magnitude more use out of it.

  • There will be ads everywhere.

    Too late.

  • Wear it on your ankle and make up a cool story about your criminal past.

  • I have around 12 watches. Only 2 of them cost more than $200 and both of those were gifts. I've never had the desire to have a smart watch let alone one that costs $1,000 but I can see the value in having a device that can measure certain parameters for medical reasons.

  • Remember kids, if you want to be a stable genius, make sure that if you ever go before a judge as a defendant do the smart thing and insult his wife.
