I really need you to consider cui bono from spreading lies and slander about a candidate running for senate whose financial backing all comes from organized labor and whose platform is stopping weapons sales to Israel.

I’m not watching a BadEmpanada video. I’m reading the bit on Platner’s policy page now. It talks about dismantling the military industrial complex and reinvesting the massive, corrupt and unaccountable defense slush fund into industries like shipbuilding, which employ working people in Maine. This looks like you’re trying to find something to get upset about.

I’m searching online for “platner rebuild military” to try to figure out what you’re talking about. I’m seeing two kids of articles: the first about how Platner worked to “rebuild” his life after returning from combat and struggling with alcohol use and PTSD, and the second about how he wants to “be a strong voice in the senate against military adventurism.” Says he wants to expand the War Powers Act to make it harder for the President to wage arbitrary wars and also wants to withdraw troops from the Middle East. So I’m still not sure what you’re talking about.

I vote for politicians based on their policies not their “morals.” Morality is for losers anyway
Oof, I feel like I am the only one that didn’t have any kind of strong reaction to progesterone. Didn’t cause any kind of change in my libido or desire.

Not sure he’s totally fat right by euro standards. He’s antizionist, which is a political opinion that gets you arrested in Germany
You can’t really compare this race to the New York City mayoral race. For one, Schumer is the leader of the Democrats in the senate and needs Democrats to unseat Republican senators in order for him to personally gain power. For two, the NY mayoral race was between Cuomo and Mamdani. it was not between a Democrat and a Republican.
Chuck Schumer only did so once his preferred candidate dropped out and Platner became unopposed in the primary. And all he said was “we’re going to retake the senate,” not any kind of personal endorsement
Except that Platner wasn’t the candidate promoted by DNC leadership. That would be Janet Mills. The Democrats failed to find a candidate who wasn’t almost 80 years old and Platner is going to sail to victory in the primary because he supports Medicare for all, stopping weapons sales to Israel and trans rights, positions the Democratic Party is too cowardly to endorse. In spite of his many character defects, he’s much more in touch with what voters want than Chuck Schumer.
Seems like a pretty cut and dry case. The movie is called 12 Angry Men, not 6. Would be a far shorter film.
