They are selling something that isn't built based on investments. They go super cheap on what they put in it, and if you can't purchase because you don't have enough money (yes shame on you), they sue you AND keep the money you put in. They are not just building the place and selling it at a price.
I think you're going after a (yes greedy) victim. It seems like the developers are the truly greedy people here. Hell they haven't built shit, and now they are suing the people they've already conned?
Even though it's plainly obvious that the Carney has nothing to do with that commercial, and the commercial was just a regan quote (and ok maybe the one thing dougie did that i think is good). Would apologizing for that costs us anything. Like if it lowers the taxes, that seems good for canada.
Against a reasonable politician it would be. Wouldn't they just use that as an excuse to declare war and annex us. Using that same war to cancel elections and stay in power?
Completely agree about the imbalance being a massive problem, and agree that taxing is likely to wind up missing these people, I don't see a clear way to cap wealth that doesn't have the same result.
If we could do that, I don't see a way with our current system that this would ever happen. Even if we put the NDP in power I'm suspicious that some of them would cave under wealth pressure.
Interested in how you deal with photos and "drive". For mail/calendar I'm looking at tuta, i'm still not sure how to deal with the large number of accounts i have associated with gmail.
