I'd love to trust AI. I'd love to let my computer do mundane shit I'd rather not have to deal with. But unfortunately, I can't trust the people who push the tech to:
respect copyright
consider environmental impact
consider social impact of inaccurate information
consider social impact of those who will misuse the technology to harm others
Pretty much all anime names are stupid as hell too. Dragon Ball famously names all characters around foods (and sometimes other themes like underwear, for example). In other anime, every character has a name that just so happens to be related to their special ability or personality. Yusuke Urameshi from Yuyuhakusho basically is "Boo Ghost-boy".
I automatically expect the Olympic Committee to be crooked.
Also, as ashamed as I am about the Canadian team breaking the rules, I also feel bad that there's a part of me that thinks, "at least it's just friggin' curling."
Yes I am a violent drug addicted criminal, I don’t know maybe you ’rewere a nice kid in school and wearwore shirts and stuff but around my hood we don’tdidn't.
Sorry, but it's still a really stupid thing to say and it doesn't make you sound as tough as you might think lol
I'm not seeing how that's relevant. It's bigger, yeah, but still an island nation with the same import cost issue that empireOfLove2 mentioned. Does being bigger and more populous somehow cancel that out?
I've always thought this too, but Japan, and specifically Okinawa (where I live) are so reliant on fossil fuels. I figured we'd have solar panels on every home, offshore wind, and maybe even lead the innovation for tidal energy but nope.
That's hilarious.I'll 3d print that toy lmao
