  • I mean AfD is also pro-russia AND have neo-nazi's in its ranks.

They are at 20% in polls just before the german election.

I don't think many people have as many issues as they should have with russia or they just don't care.

  • What the fuck kind of bullshit are you on bro?

AfD is not anti-migration it's anti-migrant. Anti-migration is just a facade they use to hide their racism. They are interested in kicking out the migrants not just stopping more from coming to germany.

What they do want is wage-slaves, slaves that will come to germany and do anything they want them to do, live like they are told to live and leave when they want them to leave.

And its ironic how germany the so-called "we won't forget our nazi past" country now supports a neo-nazi party (they poll at 20%).

Alice weidel, AfD's chancellor candidate recently talked about how she longs for her grandfather's time. Her grandfather was an actual fucking Nazi.

AfD is also the same party whose leaders attended a neo-nazi conference at the start of 2024.

On the topic of democracy, 60% of Germans support a ban on arms deal to israel, how many parties support this? How many even acknowledge it?

Which democracy are you talking about?

  • You don't know. Maybe they have a cat named "not wrong" and its being addressed here

  • What reading ToS gonna do? For many people, if they want to find a job they have no option but to network via LinkedIn. You get blocked from many many services just because you use private browsing or a VPN. These services are so well integrated with modern society that you are basically at a huge disadvantage if you don't use them.

  • Congestion fees are a very capitalist way of solving it. This law basically exists for everyone except rich people (i,e. Those who can afford to pay fees).

All this is based on a false assumption that money has an objective value. But in reality, 1$ means different things for different classes.

  • There are but most of them are blocked anyways

  • I remember germany having to start coal plants after the russian attack on ukraine. No? Am i misremembering things?

  • True. Green's are supposed to be anti-war but they still support Israel.

My biggest worry honestly is the rise of "anti-immigration" policies. Nothing wrong with controlling immigration or even stopping it completely but imo a lot of "anti-immigration" people are actually "anti-immigrants". Because it is so easy to hide your racism behind the veil of "anti-immigration".

  • Who would you vote instead?

  • If it does not ask for a phone number, it could be a good alternative for temp email.

  • In EU PhDs are always paid and often easier to get into than finding a job (at least right now based on my friend circle)

  • Clearly there are limits to this rule

  • Why so many people think being smart means getting phd's and good job/money?

Good job, phd's require discipline not smartness and often being attractive gets you better confidence/charisma, thats far far more important for getting good money or recognition than smartness

  • Well, what else did he expect to happen when eating shit?

  • What you are talking about is machine learning which is called AI. What the post is talking about is LLMs which are also called AI.

AI by definition means anything that exhibits intelligent behavior and it is not natural in nature.

So when you use GMaps to find the shortest path between 2 points that's also AI (specifically called local search).

It is pointless to argue/discuss AI if nobody even know which type they are specifically talking about.

  • We all are disagreeing on the naming not the functionality. It used to be the case that names in tech were descriptive, just by reading it out loud you can understand the tech (e,g. SQL, OOP etc.).

"Serverless" is a marketing term. A better name would be "server agnostic deployment" or many many other ways to describe it.

The fact is, this name was created by the people selling it not the people using it. And i am sure the idea is not new, but the serverless name tries to make it seem like a comparatively recent thing so people would buy it more.

  • Hey i wanted to buy a keffiyeh but amazon had so many that looked like it but didn't have the authentic prints i think. Do you happen to have any links to authentic ones? Also i am in the EU and i occasionally take part in local "palestine speaks" protests, will start being more politically active once I have the citizenship stuff figured out.

Another question, do you know any organizations that fight for palestinian rights that are registered in EU? That also accepts donations? Usually here, an organization is registered here, any donation to such non-profit org gets tax benefits which usually mean it will increase the amount people donate.

  • AfD is not just anti-immigration, it is anti-immigrants. Anti- immigration is a fake facade to hide their racism behind.

Unfortunately, pretty much all German parties now have a similar anti-immigration stance but ask yourself this, is it "anti-immigration" to deport people living in a country for almost a decade or is it "anti-immigrants"? Cuz when assad regime fell, the first thing that comes to their mind is deporting syrian refugees.

  • How do we help gaza more effectively?
