  • Well, I've seen this coming for a while now, but I must admit, I actually liked him once upon a time. His comedy specials weren't just funny, they made you think about the abstract ideas of religion and consciousness. He was like a handsome rockstar comedian, the sort of person I wish I could be. Smart, sexy, cool, interesting. Hell, when I got sober from alcohol, reading his book that re-imagined the twelve steps into something less religious actually helped.

    But then I heard the rumors, and it kind of fit with the image he gave himself. And then he made that abrupt turn into right-wing conspiracy and that all but confirmed it. To be honest I thought he'd already been charged with something and had just celebrity-ed his way out of it. Sucks, man.
