  • Yes I did, even tried a different PC which is why I think It might be the hardware. I might see if my buddy from work can plug it into his windows PC to see if it works. That way I can definitely know if it's a hardware issue.

  • Yea I remember reading about that. The thing that's baffling to me is that he painted the gold parts white. Covering shit in gold paint has been his whole thing since like the 80s. If he painted the whole thing gold it wouldn't be quite as confusing to me.

  • Not even the unifying receiver seems to show up in solaar. When I plug it in I get a notification saying Logitech unifying receiver has been plugged in on my task bar. But then I open solaar and it's just a blank window. I also tried it on my other PC that's running bazzite and it's the exact same thing. I also had 2 unifying receivers and I tried them both just to rule out a broken dongle.

  • They were talking about in on NPR today. Apparently the front of the building previously had gold columns and he had them painted over white when he renamed it, absolutely baffling. Maybe it didn't look cheap enough.

  • I would 100% look in the employee handbook and see exactly what time would be considered late for a disciplinary notice and start coming in at that time exactly. My last job it was 11 minutes after scheduled start time. And I would always tell people that whenever they'd say "you're late"

  • I did install it through the package manager. For some reason though my Logitech mouse doesn't come up on solaar. When I was looking for a reason I found something about the udev and thought that's what I had to do, I didn't realize I was reading mac stuff 😅

  • I went down a deep freak show rabbit hole a few months ago. That's basically what it came down to for a lot of the people in freak shows back then. It was either be in the freak show and have a job or be possibly locked up or not allowed in public. Theres a movie from 1932 called "freaks" it features a bunch of real performers and actually has a pretty good story. I recommend checking it out

  • I just watched this show Pluribus. In it a hive mind takes over earth except a few immune people. In one episode the main character discovers a warehouse full of frozen body parts starts freaking out and confronts the hive mind. They made a pretty convincing point, there 7 billion people in the world and every day millions of them die from accidents or natural causes, it would be wasteful not to use that abundant source of protein that is otherwise going to just rot.

  • Yea it should be the body camera footage vs the civilian testimony. The cops shouldn't even get to tell " their side". Camera wasn't working? Guess the civilian testimony is 100% true.
