It's not even just AI. I used to work at a place that cleaned rugs, the amount of water we were using each day was mind blowing. 8 hours a day 5 days a week of thousands of gallons.
At my last company they got rid of the CEO because of some thing she was doing. They have a big meeting to tell us and introduce the guy that's replacing her.. The guy who got hired a year ago, spent who knows how much on some "fleet management" software. Software that we never used because we all objected to installing the app on our personal phones that wanted to track our location and have all sorts of other crazy permissions. Dude just failed up to CEO
Interesting, Im starting to think it might just be the hardware. It was sitting unused for a year or two. I'm gonna see if I can find a windows PC to plug it into just to see if it is indeed the hardware. I already tried it on every port and on my other PC running bazzite but had the same thing happen.
I tried every USB port, they all detect when the dongle is plugged in but solaar just displays a blank window. I even tried it on my other Linux PC and it had the exact same thing happen . I also had a second dongle so I plugged it in to time rule that the dongle was broken.
