  • Linux became so good at emulating windows apps, it now runs some of them better than windows itself (higher fps, lower power draw), so eventually their will be a port.

    Given that these non native ports run in containers/bottles/whatever and internet access is often limited by default. However internet access is the key for their new business modell.

    Basically Linux users will get the same or better product, without the drawbacks, which reminds me of pirated movies, where only the people actually buying it were made to sit through unskipable commercials.

    Fascism is a broad term and can mean anything from anti socialist to nazism, both the german and italian wikipedia articles are pretty clear about that (now go on with "wiKiPedIa iS nOt An aCtUal soUrCe"). Fascio is just the italian word for alliance and Obama continued the use of the Nato alliance that Bush began for Afghanistan. In fact he ordered the deployment of 17000 soldiers to it in whats known as "the surge".

    We also know that this fascio invoking was based on false and partly manufactured "evidence" (see allegations of weapons of mass destruction), this in itself is straight out the fascist manual, like Poland attacking a German radio station was manufactured to start WW2.

    Obama had 2663 days at war, which is more than Hitler and like Hitler he directly ordered the killing of civilians in other countries. That doesnt mean that he was as bad as Hitler of course, but it means that he is a fascist.

    If you lost a loved one at a wedding that Obama bombed you would use the exact term fitting for Obama, which is fascist.

    Its easy to downplay the daily killing of people on a false premise from a cozy home far away isnt it?

  • its actually not. You need something the size of at least half the wavelength of the microwave, or multiples of it. Thats why forks and aluminium foil spark a lot (they have "antennas" that allow for charge separation through the microwave and if two of those separated charges are in close proximity a spark is formed).

    But if you have one single "antenna" like in a knife or spoon, no part of large charge separation is close enough for a spark.

    However if you dont know about this you better not put anything metallic or conductive into the microwave.

  • I actually like FreeCAD and its UI a lot and the recent improvements are huge! Yes it has its quirks but for a tool as versatile as FreeCAD they are acceptable.

    Key things: Use lots of onions and caramelize them properly, parsley goes great with them and so do mushrooms. You can vary the thickness for more al dente or more mushy. Use the oven boiler to get some nice browning and explore loads of different cheeses. Best enjoyed with a huge beer "Helles"!

    Auch mit OpenSource Software die in Nordkorea geschrieben wurde kann man sich hierzulande digital souverän machen (solange man nicht jedes Update ungeprüft durchwinkt).
