  • I think things are just going to be so so so bad tht politicians know they need to get ahead of it.

  • The point is those people who were adamant against any kind of palestinin support shouldnt just get to wash that history without admitting some failure.

Like if Bush came and said Iraq was a mistake, and then blamed Obama.

  • B is upside-down in this picture.

Technology Connections has a whole youtube about how ground should be up so if you drop something and it hits the wire its not dangerous.

Because yes the connections do become live before you push them in the whole way.

  • I agree, but i also wonder if settler was never a good word, and we just thought it was.

  • I use debian 12, like OP.

It has those separate options too.

  • I'm surprised they lasted this long.

  • Fair enough.

I guess Injust hope small businesses can generally be held to a different standard, since small businesses generally are flatter and promote more leveled economic growth.

  • These are kinda wild takes. The gaming industry for indie companies is wild and expansive in a way I dont remember 20 years ago. Was I just naive? Am I naive now, and the guy who made a game on his own and uploaded it to steam was really just part of a large shell company?

I mean you're comparing these to the multinational coorporations that are ruining our environment, and healthcare (in the US). I dont feel like they're the same?

Maybe there needs to be tweaks so that the extra burdens don't inhibit small companies, but do the big ones. Maybe thats already in it, but its hard for me to take it seriously when you're comparing customer's desire for a good product with a child working in a mine.

  • And I think theres a place to break that association, but .aybe candidates that are running to change our system dont need to be the ones to do it.

  • And a lot of burnt carbon to get there :(

  • They alao have done very little about the misinformation Joe Rogan continues to spout.

  • If theres anything Ive learned from the fire departments insistence to have big wide roads so that they can shave off nano seconds to their response time, sometimes theres bigger things than persieved immediate safety to the individual.

For example, if we all drove Kei trucks slowly on small roads, a collision would not be as bad as driving a big safety focused truck at 80mph.

Still, your point is well taken. Maybe there are some ways to make safe small vehicles, including trucks, that arent explored yet.

  • Hm. Interesting point.

Maybe as we move our economy away from cars, and people dont all have to be drivers, we could also move away from cars that are poorly designed specifically around bad drivers.

  • I was hoping someone like you would have summarized it.

  • I use lastpass and have my vault on my phone.

But I have a hard time using someone else's browser these days . .. too many custom plugins.

  • The https is to cover the factthat you might have missed something.

I guess I download and skim out of principle, but they might have hidden something in there.

  • She was the 4th most progressive candidate still in the 2020, solidly mid of the primary field, with some really terrible candidates behind her, and some really good candidates ahead of her.

I think she could have been the best president since Carter, but she certainly didnt run like it.

But again, none of this really matters.

  • I half agree. I think the Biden campaign hamstrung her more, than she hamstrung herself, but what do I know, and its all a bit silly. Her campaign is over in any case.

  • And Harris was hamstrung by Biden.

    She could have been better.
