Same is true in America. If immigration is up and immigrants cause crime, why is crime down?
Almost as if it's willful delusion to push a narrative. A group of people covering their eyes and ears and lying through their teeth to radicalize people to their sick cause.
I remember the same happening. They were curating the appearance of diversity by putting certain people behind Trump. I remember seeing posts about pay, especially during the campaign leading up to the 2024 election because Trump was so unpopular at that time that his rallies were largely empty. They were doing all kinds of camera tricks to try to create the sense that he filled a stadium. Meanwhile 90 percent of the upper level was empty and half the main floor was empty as well.
I don't have the energy to dig it up and source it for the Lemmings but I definitely remember this stuff taking place.
Paid protestor? Maybe not. Paid rally attendees for propaganda? Absolutely.
The sad and dangerous thing is that many are actually starting to come around to the idea that fascism is good. They have spent years denying that Trump is a fascist and are now fully embracing it.
They own so much more than the news organizations. They own the special interest groups, the lobbyists, the elected officials, the land and natural resources, every single company we buy goods and services from, the banks, the hospitals, everything. Slavery didn't end, it just changed its business model.
I hung out with a guy online from Philly for a couple years. He was blue collar, laid tile. Union. Brother was a police officer. Other brother was military stationed in Japan. Father also in the union.
He was edgy at first, but became a lot more willing to show his true colors. After a while, it became evident that while he would never admit to being MAGA, he would repeat MAGA talking points all the time. Eventually we got into it and stopped hanging out.
He only had bad things to say about POC and Philly. Talked about the fentanyl issue, would clench his teeth talking about POC, had a pistol and would go for it every time he saw someone suspicious on his home camera when it was just someone walking by or parking their car. Absolutely unhinged. His family reinforced his beliefs, and they were even more racist than he was.
Anyway, my anecdote is just to say that these blue collar guys from the burbs of major cities are dangerous, hateful, and often violent people. They blame minorities for everything wrong with the city.
I understand the point you're trying to make and I completely refuse it. I have tried to do what I can to avoid having someone like Trump in power. I bear no responsibility for him being elected or the actions he takes. Those that did choose him do.
They have themselves convinced that they did it on their own. Dad was a lawyer, paid for his son to be a lawyer, hired his son as his law firm. And it happens all the time in every industry. I'm fine with families setting up their children in the family business, it has always been done. The issue I have is that when everyone else comes up with ways to reduce the discrepancy, those same people cry and call it unfair and do everything they can to hold others back. It's really sickening and that type of culture is worse than ever now that a ghoul has been installed to the White House that espouses rhetoric that denigrates the poor.
Delta knows their audience. Many pilots lean Republican and see themselves as rugged individualists that have made their own path. Meanwhile, the only reason they're flying in many cases are socially funded training programs. Many from the military.
We have to invade and propogate!
