Seems theyre just talking about advanced munitions and ballistics, no?
Correct. They aren't talking about small arms ammunition. I heard a figure that the US might be down to like half the total supply of THAAD interceptors after the "Twelve Day War". The missiles take ~3 years to manufacturer from order to completion. It's all the fancy (but profitable) wunderweapons the US military uses that are good for shock and awe, but not great at fighting a war.
I've been hearing reporting for the past few days that Trump and/or the DoD wanted Isr**l to attack first and Iran to retaliate against US targets to give the US a reason to wage war.
Has any country successfully turned the clock back to an earlier economic condition or, like everything else, is the only option to not dwell on the past and push forward to something new?
Saying nothing about this person in particular, leadership does not require knowledge of the thing you're overseeing. It doesn't hurt, but it's not like Mr. Gamer himself Phil Spencer didn't oversee the crashing of the entire brand.
A lot can be said about Xbox and the state of the gaming industry writ large, but it's clear to me that Microsoft is done with Xbox as a physical platform. Given the state of the hardware market, there is probably little internal appetite to do something as resource intensive as a full console launch.
